The process starts with a short enquiry; a description and a few photos is enough to get started.

Once we've reviewed your items we'll be in touch to discuss pricing, collection, and next steps. Items are listed on the Grays website and promoted to our mailing list and social media audience each week.

Items that don't sell are gradually reduced over time. If an item hasn't sold after an agreed period, we'll discuss your options which may include listing through other sales channels.

We handle everything once an item is in our care: photography, listing, enquiries, negotiation, and payment processing. When a sale completes, we'll be in touch to arrange your payment.

We consider most antique and vintage furniture, homewares, art, jewellery, collectibles, and decorative objects. Items should be in reasonable condition; some wear is expected and fine, significant damage or missing parts will affect saleability.

If you'd prefer to drop items off, you're welcome to bring them to the South Melbourne shop. Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. Please call ahead for larger items.
