Victorian English highly figured mahogany half-tester bed having an arched top curved end footboard with an applied carved cartouche over a moulded inset. panel of crotch mahogany veneers, deeply moulded canopy supported on unfinished mahogany tapering posts and a hole punched unfinished headboard; old/original rails, canopy insert and brass castors with brown porcelain wheels. circa mid nineteenth century.
