Pink Ribbed Glass Cups with Applied Clear Decoration

A set of pink pressed‑glass cups featuring horizontal ribbing and applied clear decorative elements. These present well with uniform colour and a classic mid‑century style. No maker’s marks are present.

History

Coloured pressed glass became widely popular through the mid‑20th century, with many European and Australian makers producing ribbed and moulded forms in pink, amber and green tones. From the owners provenance, they have been in their family for 80 years and we believe these to be made in Murano, Italy in the first half of the 20th century.
