Red Velvet Chaise Longue or Victorian Day Bed

Completely original chaise longue from the last half of the 19th century. This is one of those furniture pieces that suggests a different world, a calmer time. At the syrt of our career (35 years ago) we were very impressed when we delivered one to the clients kitchen. Her plan was to indulge in a glass of wine while she watched the slow cooker!
