Temple Bowl Brass Indian Sacred Water

Indian temple brass bowl from the 18th (possibly early 19th) century. Extremely heavy and sitting on four small bun feet. We suggest that this would have held sacred water in a place of worship. There is a very distinctive and reasonant note when the bowl is struck with a solid object.

These objects have also been extremely sought after through history.
