Vintage Wooden Dowel Stand — Candle Holder or Wine Rack
Vintage Wooden Dowel Stand — Candle Holder or Wine Rack
Couldn't load pickup availability
A handmade wooden stand constructed from bundled dowel rods, with three cylindrical holders at varying heights on a turned central column and splayed cross base. Most likely intended as a candle holder for pillar candles or a wine bottle stand.
The construction style and timber suggest 1960s to 1970s origin, the kind of studio craft piece that turns up occasionally and resists easy categorisation. Solid and structurally sound.
We're not entirely certain of the original purpose and would welcome any insight from buyers who recognise it.
