A finely modelled porcelain figurine marked with the Wallendorf crown‑over‑W and “1764” hallmark. The figure depicts a dancer carrying a birdcage with three brightly coloured birds, finished with detailed hand‑painting and gilt accents.

The piece presents well with strong colour and decorative detail typical of mid‑century Wallendorf production. Impressed numbers on the base relate to factory model coding.

History:
Wallendorf Porcelain, founded in 1764 in Thuringia, Germany, is one of Europe’s oldest porcelain manufacturers. The workshop became known for Rococo‑inspired figurines, dancers and ornate decorative pieces throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Their crown‑over‑W mark is widely recognised, and mid‑century Wallendorf figurines remain collectible for their craftsmanship, expressive modelling and traditional hand‑painted finishes.
